WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect a rotating menu of cocktails, mocktails, wines, and spirits: always evolving, never static. Alongside them, bites and nibbles to keep you satisfied, though this isn't the place for a full meal. Dress up if the room moves you to, but come as you are if that's more your speed - we welcome both. Above all, The Loft is a space for connection: locals and visitors, regulars and first-timers, all in one room. We're building this space around you, shaped by the feedback and interest of the guests who walk through our door.

FINDING THE DOOR

The Loft hides upstairs at Half Hitch Brewing in Cochrane. Walk in through the main entrance and let the host know you're one of ours and they'll lead you to the staircase in the back, up to us.

THE HOURS

Friday and Saturday, 6pm - late. The best nights up here aren't always planned. We suggest a reservation between 6–8:30pm if you want a guaranteed seat, but the door's open for wanderers, wonderers, and last-minute cocktail cravings all night long.

Where is The Loft, and how far is it from Calgary?

Upstairs at Half Hitch Brewing in Cochrane, Alberta - about 25 minutes northwest of Calgary, and an easy evening's drive from anywhere in the city.

Do I need a reservation?

Tables are few, so a reservation is the surest way in. Walk-ins are welcome when there's room, but we can't promise a seat on a busy evening.

Is it really a speakeasy?

In spirit, not in secrecy. There's no password at the door but the room is dim, small, and quiet by design, and we keep it that way on purpose.

Is there a dress code?

None. Dress up if the room moves you to, or come as you are, both are at home here.
