THROUGH THE CURTAIN
Nineteen stairs up, one curtain across, and Cochrane is somewhere else.
Walk through Half Hitch, climb the stairs at the back and step through the curtain. People tell us it's the last thing they expected to find in Cochrane. We'll take that.
The plates→
Small plates made for sharing, and they change with the season: think charcuterie, marinated olives and a good spread of cheeses. Bites, not a full dinner.
The room→
About 45 seats in comfy chairs around low tables, with a few couches and high tops, lit low on purpose. Small enough to feel like yours, busy enough to feel like a night out.

A Speakeasy Christmas at The Loft.
Something new to Cochrane, and something your people won't expect: a private hideaway upstairs for your holiday party. Jazz on the speakers, a Christmas cocktail menu and holiday bites built for sharing.
Book a couch section of your own for 8 to 20 on Thursdays and Sundays, with no room fee, just food and drink. Fridays and Saturdays hold one section for 8 to 12. Or take the whole room any day of the week, for up to 50.

Every Saturday at nine the room gets a soundtrack. Come early and settle in with a table, or come late for the set. Either way, the night runs long.
Two of you, or the whole crew
Pull up two chairs for a slow night out, or bring the group and settle into the couches. The night shapes itself around what you're after: a quiet catch-up over one good drink, or a few rounds and a lot of stories.

- Friday and Saturday from 6pm. Live music Saturdays at 9.
- GETTING A SEAT
- Walk-ins are welcome all night. Book a table if you want one held between 6 and 8:30.
- FINDING US
- Through the front doors of Half Hitch Brewing. Tell the host you're here for The Loft and they'll point you to the stairs.
- PARKING
- Free in the brewery lot, with more on the street nearby.
- AGE
- The Loft is 18+, so bring your ID.
- THE STAIRS
- It's nineteen stairs up and there's no elevator. If stairs are hard for you, send us a note before you come and we'll talk it through.
- CELEBRATING SOMETHING
- The room holds about 45. Book ahead for six or more, or get in touch about a section of your own or the whole room.
